Goldenrod

Goldenrod is very soothing and healing. It is a useful diuretic for urinary tract problems, obstructions, kidney and bladder stones and inflammation. It has been used for both for serious ailments such as nephritis, and for more common ailments such as cystitis. Goldenrod acts specifically against the Candida fungus, the cause of vaginal yeast infections and oral thrush. It can be helpful for upper respiratory infections. The herb can also be taken for conditions such as sore throat, chronic nasal congestion and diarrhea. It is helpful for hay fever and allergies to cats.
